GUWAHATI: In anticipation of the forthcoming festive season of Holi, Indian Railways has announced the operation of a special passenger train between New Tinsukia and Jaynagar to accommodate the expected surge in passenger traffic. The special train aims to facilitate travel between key destinations during the festive period.

Train no. 05974 (New Tinsukia – Jaynagar), will depart from New Tinsukia on 19th and 26th March 2024 at 05:00 hours, reaching Jaynagar the next day at 09:30 hours. In the return direction, Train No. 05973 (Jaynagar – New Tinsukia) will commence its journey from Jaynagar on 20th and 27th March 2024 at 12:10 hours, arriving at New Tinsukia the following day at 21:00 hours.
