Indian Army Rescues Missing Sainik School Student In Agartala

 

Following the rescue, Utkarsh was provided medical aid and flown home via a civil flight

GUWAHATI: The Indian Army’s Spear Corps successfully rescued Master Utkarsh Mohan Bhanarkar, a Sainik School Korukonda student, on Saturday, January 25.

He had gone missing on December 19 while travelling from Secunderabad to Vijayanagaram.

Utkarsh contacted his father on January 23, revealing that he had been drugged and robbed by miscreants before he found himself en route to Agartala.

As a result, his parents sought help from the Spear Corps, who quickly coordinated with the Railway Protection Force and the Child Welfare Commission to locate and rescue him at Agartala Railway Station.

Following the rescue, Utkarsh was provided medical aid and flown home via a civil flight. He was reunited with his family on the eve before Republic Day.
