GUWAHATI: The Satgaon police arrested two people on March 26 in connection with a sex racket at Panjabari’s Namghar Path.
Two accused who were arrested was identified as Chandan Nayak and Dadhiraj Sarma.
The matter came to light when the locals discovered that a minor girl of the area was forced in prostitution a few months ago.
According to reports, the prime accused in the case- Maina Gowala is still absconding. The police informed that further investigation is ongoing.
