Section 144 have been imposed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shri Rajveer in the entire Central Police District, Guwahati which covers areas under Paltanbazar, Panbazar, Latasil, Chandmari, Geetanagar, Pragjyotishpur, Noonmati and Satgaon Police Station. The order was issued on 21st January, 2021.
Section 144 prohibits assembly of more than 5 (five) persons, agitation, demonstration, rally, procession, mashal procession and shouting slogans.
