GUWAHATI: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) is set to close down two of its regional offices in Silchar and Jorhat districts.
As per reports, the two offices will stop functioning from March 1. Officials informed that they will form regional committees in every district. These committees will help to oversee the implementation of various schemes and activities by the board.
These regional committees will be headed by an inspector of schools and would provide assistance to candidates who are appearing for their board examinations.
