GUWAHATI: The popular spiritual guru Sadhguru, who underwent a major brain surgery recently after he suffered from bleeding in his brain, is recovering well from the operation, his organization Isha Foundation announced on X yesterday.
The foundation stated on their official X handle, “A few days ago, Sadhguru underwent brain surgery after life-threatening bleeding in the brain. Sadhguru is recovering very well, and the team of doctors who performed the surgery say his condition is improving beyond expectations.”

Yesterday, the news of Sadhguru’s brain operation had spread across the country as many people expressed their concerns and wished him a speedy recovery, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who stated on his X account, “Spoke to @SadhguruJV Ji and wished him good health and a speedy recovery.”

Sadhguru replied to the PM Modi’s tweet saying, “Beloved Pradhan Mantriji, I should not be a Concern to you. You have a Nation to conduct. Overwhelmed by your concern, on my way to recovery. Dhanyavad –Sg.”

A short video of Sadhguru in the hospital had also gone viral across social media platforms in which he is seen make a joke. “The Apollo hospital neurosurgeons cut through my skull to try and find something, but found nothing -- totally empty. So they gave up and patched it up. Here I am in Delhi with the patched-up skull but a damaged brain,” he says in the video.
