GUWAHATI: In response to a complaint about a fraudulent investment scheme, the Cyber Police Station Guwahati (Cyber PS) recovered a substantial portion of the defrauded funds on Friday, June 14.

The scheme had conned a victim out of more than ₹2 crores.
Acting promptly on the complaint, the Cyber PS team managed to recover ₹7,25,759, which has already been credited back into the victim's bank account. The ongoing probe aims to uncover the full extent of the fraudulent operation and recover the remaining amount.
