₹5.67 Lakh In Fake Currency Seized In Guwahati, One Arrested

GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip-off, the Special Task Force (STF) led by Inspector Kapil Pathak conducted a targeted operation against a fake currency racket at Downtown under the jurisdiction of Dispur Police Station.

The raid led to the bust of ₹5,67,000 in Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN). Additionally, one individual was apprehended, and significant items used in the production and distribution of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) were seized. The confiscated items include a counterfeit FICN printing machine, one mobile phone, and a two-wheeler used in the operation.  

The arrested individual is currently being interrogated, and further investigations are underway.
