GUWAHATI: In a joint operation by the Golaghat and Sivasagar Police, 992.13 grams of heroin, valued at ₹5 crore, were seized on Tuesday, March 4, around 11 A.M. The drugs were concealed in 65 soap cases inside a vehicle in the Halwating Police Station area of Sivasagar district.

The operation followed an input shared by the Golaghat Police. Four individuals were arrested in connection with the trafficking operation.
In addition to the drugs, two vehicles were also seized. The suspects are currently under investigation, and further legal action will follow.
