GUWAHATI: The Assam Police seized 9,000 Yaba tablets and arrested three drug dealers during an operation in Sonai Rangirghat area of Cachar district.

Acting on intelligence inputs, the authorities intercepted the suspects and confiscated the tablets, valued at over ₹3 crore in the illegal market.
In a separate operation at the Silchar bypass, police recovered 88 grams of heroin worth approximately ₹ 60 lakh. Two individuals were taken into custody in connection with this case.
Investigations into both incidents are underway, with authorities working to trace the networks involved in drug trafficking in the region.
