GUWAHATI: The Cyber Police Station team in Guwahati successfully recovered ₹12,760, which was credited back into the bank account of a victim from Patorkuchi on Friday.

The victim had lost ₹1,75,000 in a fraudulent online investment scheme in April 2024. Investigations area underway to recover the remaining amount. Further details await.
Guwahati Police took to X to put out, “A Cyber PS team recovered ₹12,760/- as it was credited back into victim’s bank account today. Earlier in April,2024, the victim from Patorkuchi lost ₹1,75,000/- in a fake online investment scam. Effort is on to recover more money.”
