AN-32 Aircraft Crash: Rescuers remain stranded at crash site

GUWAHATI: The team of 12 rescuers that retrieved the bodies of 13 people who died after their AN-32 aircraft crashed in Arunachal Pradesh, are still stranded at the crash site in the mountains. 

The rescuers are waiting for the weather to improve so that they can be airlifted. According to a meteorological forecast, the weather is likely to improve by Saturday (June 29) and Sunday (June 30). 

They have been at the crash site since June 12, when they were airdropped for the search operation.

It should be noted that the search operation for the mortal remains of the deceased was completed on June 20.
