GUWAHATI: Assam bowlers tore through Tanmay Agarwal-led Hyderabad as the visitors bundled out the home side for a score of 208 at stumps on Day 2, Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad to take a healthy lead of 179 runs.
Wicketkeeper-Captain Kunal Saikia-led Assam in their second innings has posted 182 runs, thus far, for the loss of 6 wickets in 39 overs.
Earlier in the first innings, in response to Assam’s score of 205, Left-handed Rohit Rayudu emerged as the lead scorer with a knock of 60 runs having faced as many as 169 deliveries.
For the visitors, Riyan Parag led the charge for his side with the ball having scalped a four-wicket haul along with Dibrugarh boy, Mukhtar Hussain taking three wickets.
