GUWAHATI: Following the Hooch tragedy which took the lives of more than 160 people after drinking toxic bootleg liquor near Salmara tea estate and with several hospitalised in Golaghat, Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter and slammed BJP led-Assam Government for being incompetent.
Gandhi tweeted, "The apathy & incompetence of the Assam Govt. has resulted in the tragic deaths of over 140 people with scores of victims in hospital, poisoned by toxic alcohol. My condolences to the families of those who have died. I also pray that those in the hospital make a speedy recovery."
