GUWAHATI: Finance and Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has informed in a tweet on July 16, that actress and singer Priyanka Chopra is no longer with the Assam government as her contract has expired.
She is not with Assam Govt now. Her contract with assam Govt expired as far as I know.

Priyanka Chopra was made the brand ambassador of Assam Tourism for two years, starting on December 19, 2016.

Her agreement was “free of cost” and she was only paid during shoots and for print advertisements as she had to leave her other work to do this, according to a report by The Hindu.
