President Of India Visits Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur In Gujarat

On a momentous occasion, the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, visited Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, marking the first-ever visit by the President of India to this tribal taluka in Dharampur. 

The visit, hosted by Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji, garnered immense significance, showcasing the convergence of spirituality, social service, and national development.

Accompanied by esteemed dignitaries including the Governor of Gujarat, Acharya Devvrat, Cabinet Minister Kuber Dindor, State Minister, Jagdish Panchal, and Principal Secretary of Tribal Development Agency Dr. A.S. Murli Krishna. 

During a tour of the Ashram, the President witnessed the extensive efforts made by the Mission in education, health, women empowerment, and various other initiatives aimed at uplifting the tribal communities in Rural South Gujarat.

A grand program was oraganised at the 'Raj Sabhagruh,' attended by thousands in person and millions online. The Trustees of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur honored the President with a shawl and a memento, while Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji presented a divine idol and a stunning replica of the Raj Sabhagruh.

Local women from Raj Uphaar, a women's empowerment initiative, expressed their admiration by presenting handcrafted products. The event showcased the rich cultural heritage with a Tribal Dance - Dangi Nritya, a joyous homage to Nature.

Being the first tribal community President of India, Droupadi Murmu has been a pioneer in the upliftment of tribal communities. She expressed her appreciation for the Mission's initiatives and the impactful work undertaken for years.

The Governor inaugurated Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji's Hindi discourse series 'Tabhi Ishwar Prasann Honge' and the meditation series 'Kshama', which were gifted to the President. The occasion exemplified a harmonious blend of religion, social service, and national advancement.

In her address, the President conveyed her heartfelt respect towards the spiritual tradition at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, praising the unprecedented work of Gurudevshri Rakeshji in the spiritual field. The Governor highlighted the timeless inspiration provided by Shrimad Rajchandraji, spreading universal values for a harmonious society.

Vice-President of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Atmarpit Nemiji expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble President, saying, "We consider ourselves extremely blessed to be devotees of Pujya Gurudevshri, the epitome of spirituality. Extremely fortunate as citizens of the country, with the Hon’ble President as the custodian of spirituality, and highly privileged to be led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who has chosen the path of morality, humanity and spirituality.”

On that day, under the chairmanship of the President, another public event was organized in the Raj Sabha Hall for the upliftment of PVTG under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Man Yojana, in which she held a meeting with more than 350 representatives of the entire indigenous community of Gujarat.
