GUWAHATI: Guwahati police launched raids against illicit liquor, seizing large quantities in multiple operations across the city on Friday, February 7.

A team from Pan Bazaar police station, confiscated 12 bags containing approximately 400 litres of illegal liquor.
Meanwhile, officials from Sonapur Police Station raided roadside restaurants in Chamata, uncovering and seizing a substantial quantity of illicit liquor. The operation disrupted what was believed to be one of the biggest illegal liquor hubs in the area.
Earlier, on Thursday, January 23, police intercepted a vehicle transporting illicit liquor at MG Road near Judges Field. Officers from Pan Bazaar Police Station seized 360 litres of illegal alcohol.
