GUWAHATI: The city police arrested one in connection with running a fake driving license racket in Beharbari locality of Guwahati.
As per reports, the police recovered 32 fake driving licenses from the spot as well as other equipment related to the racket including computers and a printing machine. The police was acting on a tip-off and received the information while conducting verification of driving licenses.

The arrested was identified as Nikunja Das who hails from Barpeta district of the state.
According to reports, Das duped people by also allegedly forging the signatures of signatory authorities for the purpose of making driving licenses.
