GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the nation urged Indians to stay indoors in the midst of coronavirus outbreak. He also asked people to follow the lockdown and government orders.
“We are in the stage when our action will determine how the future is shaped,” he said.
Talking about the rapid spread of the disease, PM Modi said that as per the WHO, it took 67 days for the number of Coronavirus affected people to reach 1 lakh, but only in the next 11 days, 1 lakh more people got affected.
“It caught up suddenly, meanwhile it took 4 days only to take the number to 3 lakh,” said the Prime Minister.
