Earlier, on 23rd April, 2018, a successful test flight on an ATR-42 (twin-turboprop, short-haul regional airliner) took place from Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport to Pasighat. The operator for the route is Alliance Air.
A landmark step by Modi Govt towards enhancing air connectivity. After decades, Arunachal Pradesh, our beloved land of the rising sun, all set for 1st Guwahati-Pasighat flight on 21st May. It will give wings to dreams and boost tourism. A very heart-warming development indeed! pic.twitter.com/HvxsVNYuaD
