GUWAHATI: Indian archer Deepika Kumari was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Women's Individual Archery event at the Paris Olympics, falling to South Korea's Nam Suhyeon. Despite leading Nam 4-2 after the third set, a series of poor shots prevented her from advancing to the semifinals.

Earlier on Saturday, Bhajan Kaur of India was defeated by Indonesia’s Diananda Choirunisa with a 5-6 score in the women’s 1/8 elimination round.
Indian shooter Manu Bhaker narrowly missed out on a medal, finishing fourth in the Women's 25m Pistol final at the Paris Olympics 2024. Manu lost the 3rd/4th place elimination playoff, missing the chance to secure her third medal of the current Olympics in the French capital.
Later today, boxer Nishant Dev will compete in the men's 71kg quarterfinal. A win would guarantee him and India a medal.
