A video of the incident soon surfaced on social media, sparking widespread discussion on platform X.

Meanwhile, India has opted out of traveling to Pakistan for the tournament, playing all its matches in Dubai instead. The much-anticipated India-Pakistan showdown is set for February 23 in Dubai. Should India progress to the knockout stage, both their semi-final and final matches will also be held there.

India last toured Pakistan in 2008, while Pakistan has played in India multiple times since then, including the 2012/13 bilateral series, the 2016 T20 World Cup, and the 2023 ODI World Cup.

The upcoming India-Pakistan clash carries high stakes. While Pakistan will fight to keep their title hopes alive, India will look to strengthen its position in the semi-finals.
