GUWAHATI: The Assam cabinet has given the green light for customised incentives to be extended to three key companies. The empowered committee for customised incentives, operating under the ambit of the Industrial and Investment Policy of Assam (IIPA) 2019, recommended these incentives as part of the broader vision to transform the industrial landscape of the state.
The three companies set to benefit from these incentives are M/s Galaxy Infra Creations Pvt Ltd, The Indian Hotels Company (Taj Kaziranga), and Bhavya Shristi Udyog Pvt Ltd. The proposed investments and employment generation plans for each company are outlined below:
M/s Galaxy Infra Creations Pvt Ltd:
• Investment: ₹177.59 crore
• Employment: 800 (300 direct and 500 indirect)
The Indian Hotels Company (Taj Kaziranga):
• Investment: ₹120 crore
• Employment: 200
Bhavya Shristi Udyog Pvt Ltd:
• Investment: ₹140.68 crore
• Employment: 379
Total Investment Across Companies: ₹438.27 crore
Total Employment Generation: 1,379 jobs
