Orang National Park To Reopen On October 1

GUWAHATI: Nature enthusiasts and wildlife aficionados have reason to rejoice as Orang National Park, nestled on the northern bank of the majestic Brahmaputra River in the Darrang and Sonitpur districts of Assam, is set to reopen its gates to tourists on October 1, 2023. However, visitors should note that the park will observe a weekly closure every Monday.

Orang National Park, often referred to as the "Mini Kaziranga" for its striking resemblance to the renowned Kaziranga National Park, is a treasure trove of biodiversity. Its lush expanse boasts a diverse range of flora and fauna, making it a haven for wildlife enthusiasts.
