GUWAHATI: A total of over Rs 108 crores has been donated to Assam Arogya Nidhi by close to 50,000 donors.
"Arogya Nidhi is the largest charitable drive of Assam," stated state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announcing the numbers.

He extended gratitude towards all individuals and organizations that donated for the coronavirus relief fund.

Government sources have said that the fund will be utilized to upgrade health infrastructure of the state.
