NSUI stages protest rally against BJP Govt

Assam State NSUI along with Kamrup(M) NSUI and 500 other NSUI activists staged a protest rally against the BJP Government and its decision to increase the VAT on essential items and auction of Assam's very own 12 oil fields, near Dispur Last Gate on Thursday. Around 50 protestors were arrested and were taken to the police station in cramped stray dog vehicles along with the Dog in the vehicle, as a form of unofficial torture. Comemnting on the issue, Zubair Anam, State Vice President said, "The people of Assam voted BJP to power to take care of the states assets, and not to sell them away to the corporates." Also, Pranjal Bezbaruah,  District President, Kamrup (M) said, "They can keep arresting us, and we will keep raising our voice."
