GUWAHATI: A metallic object fell from an Indian Air Force jet and damaged a house in Picchore town of Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri district on Friday morning. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The object, described by the IAF as a "non-explosive aerial store", crashed through the rooftop of a residence located around 135 kilometres from Gwalior. The impact damaged two rooms in the house, and debris from the structure fell onto a car parked nearby.
Following the incident, the Indian Air Force issued a statement on X, saying, “The IAF regrets the damage caused today to property on ground, near Shivpuri, by the inadvertent drop of a non-explosive aerial store from an IAF aircraft, and has instituted an inquiry into the incident.”
