Nitin Gadkari Faints During Maharashtra Election Rally

 

GUWAHATI: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), faced a health scare on Wednesday as he lost consciousness while addressing a Lok Sabha election rally in Yavatmal, Maharashtra.

Reports and videos viral on social media indicate that Gadkari suddenly began to feel dizzy while delivering his speech in Pusad, Yavatmal, and subsequently collapsed.

Concerned party workers responded quickly by splashing water on his face, and removing him from the stage.

They then sought medical assistance for the minister.

Gadkari was actively campaigning for Rajashree Patil, the BJP-Mahayuti candidate contesting from the Yavatmal-Washim Lok Sabha constituency.
