GUWAHATI: The Indian Railways has announced special train services to combat the surge in passenger traffic during the peak travel season of December. These services will run between Dibrugarh and Dhubri.

The Dibrugarh-Dhubri special train (Train No. 05938) will depart Dibrugarh at 7:30 AM on December 4 and arrive in Dhubri at 2:05 AM on December 5.
Its return service, Train No. 05937, will depart Dhubri at 7:20 PM on December 7 and reach Dibrugarh at 4:30 PM the next day. The train will stop at key stations, including New Tinsukia, Naharkatia, Simaluguri, Furkating, Lumding, Guwahati, Rangiya, and New Bongaigaon.
Additionally, there is an extension of the Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal special train (Train No. 02525) service, as it will now operate every Friday between December 6 and December 29. The return service (Train No. 02526) will run every Sunday between December 8 and December 29.
Railway authorities encourage passengers with waitlisted tickets to utilise these special services for more convenient travel. Travelers are also advised to check updated schedules and ticket availability before planning their journeys.
