GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the restoration of services of four special trains from this month till further notice for the benefit of passengers.
NFR has restored trains originating from Kamakhya Junction Railway Station to Bhagat Ki Kothi, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Ranchi, and Puri.
The services of train no. 05624 Kamakhya – Bhagat Ki Kothi special express will be restored from June 18. The train will leave Kamakhya at 17:15 hours every Friday to reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 21:45 hours on Sunday. In the return direction, services of train no. 05623 Bhagat Ki Kothi - Kamakhya special express will be restored from June 22, leaving Bhagat Ki Kothi at 16:10 hours every Tuesday to reach Kamakhya at 23:10 hours on Thursday. The train will run via New Jalpaiguri Jn, New Barauni Jn, Patna Jn, Varanashi, Lucknow, Delhi Jn, and Jodhpur Jn during its both way journey.
The services of train no. 05644 Kamakhya – Puri special express will be restored from June 24, 2021. The train will leave Kamakhya at 23:45 hours every Thursday to reach Puri at 07:30 hours on Saturday. In the return direction, services of train no. 05643 Puri - Kamakhya special express will be restored from June 26, 2021. The train will leave Puri at 22:05 hours every Saturday to reach Kamakhya at 05:25 hours on Monday. The train will run via Goalpara, Alipurduar Jn, New Mal Jn, Siliguri Jn, Kishanganj, Howrah, Kharagpur, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar during its both way journey.
The services of train no. 05655 Kamakhya – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra special express will be restored from June 27, 2021. The train will leave Kamakhya at 11:00 hours every Sunday to reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 15:45 hours on Tuesday. In the return direction, services of train no. 05656 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra - Kamakhya special express will be restored from June 30, 2021. The train will leave Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 03:45 hours every Wednesday to reach Kamakhya at 11:30 hours on Friday. The train will run via Goalpara, Dhupguri, Katihar, Darbhanga Jn, Gorakhpur Jn, Bareilly, Saharanpur Jn, and Ludhiana Jn during its both way journey.
The services of train no. 05662 Kamakhya – Ranchi special express will be restored from June 29, 2021. The train will leave Kamakhya at noon every Tuesday to reach Ranchi at 14:25 hours on Wednesday. In the return direction, services of train no. 05663 Ranchi - Kamakhya special express will be restored from June 30, 2021. The train will leave Ranchi at 20:30 hours every Wednesday to reach Kamakhya at 23:30 hours on Thursday. The train will run via Goalpara, Alipurduar Jn, New Mal Jn, Siliguri Jn, Kishanganj, Rampurhat, Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, and Bokaro Steel City during its both way journey.
Announcing the restoration of services of the trains, Subhanan Chanda, Chief PRO of NF Railway said, "It may kindly be noted that, on arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing COVID-19 health protocols of the destination state."
