GUWAHATI: An aircraft reportedly veered off the runway and crashed on Wednesday while attempting to take off from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

As many as 19 people, including the crew members were onboard the plane when it crashed.
According to reports, the aircraft, operated by the domestic carrier Saurya Airlines, was en route to the popular resort town of Pokhara when the accident occurred.
The cause of the accident and casualties are yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.
The death toll in a plane crash at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu has gone upto 18, including the Co-Pilot.
