Guwahati: The Competition Success Review & GHRC Law School Survey 2018 published in June,2018 has ranked the NEF Law College, Guwahati as the ‘Law School of Excellence’ of the country and placed the College in 10th position in that category.
The CSR-GHRC Law School Survey has also ranked NEF Law College as the Top Law School of the state of Assam. The ranking of the Law schools was made on the basis of:
(1) Physical and Academic Infrastructure,
(2) Faculty, Publication, Research, Consultancy, Corporate Development / Training & Other programmes,
(3) Admission, Curricular and Delivery System,
(4) Placement, USP, Social Responsibility, Networking & Industry Interface.
NEF Law College which is affiliated to Gauhati University is the only Law College of North East India selected for this recognition. It may be mentioned here that NEF Law College established in 2006 is conducting 5 Year Integrated Law Courses in three streams besides Three Year LL.B. and LL.M. courses. The College is consistently producing University topers since its establishment.
