GUWAHATI: Narayana Hospital, Guwahati celebrated International Women’s Day in the hospital premises at Amingaon and other two locations in Guwahati on 8th March’2019.
The program at the hospital began by applauding all the women folk of the hospital, followed by a cake cutting ceremony. Narayana provided free OPD consultation for women in the hospital, on the occasion.
The program was attended by all female employees of NH Guwahati, all female patients in the hospital, RJ Sanchi, Dr Arunima Mahanta and Dr Fawzia Zaman . The day was celebrated to empower women & helping women gain full and equal participation in global development.
Narayana hospital also conducted talks on women hygiene and food hygiene at Railway union office, Bamunimaidan and Kaliram Baruah High School in Bharalumukh.
Physiotherapist and dietician of the hospital created awareness through their talks and demonstrations regarding the need for information about good hygiene practices.
