According to news reports, the message was sent to the traffic police helpline, mentioning two ISI agents and plans for a bomb blast.

The threat was traced to a number registered in Ajmer, Rajasthan, prompting Mumbai Police to dispatch a team to apprehend the suspect.

Preliminary investigations have suggested the sender may be mentally disturbed or under the influence of alcohol, though further inquiries are ongoing.

For the moment, an FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. While authorities are treating the threat seriously, the Mumbai traffic police helpline has received numerous hoax messages in the past.
