GUWAHATI: The body of Subhendu Kumar Choudhary, Principal Chief Security Officer of NF Railway, who was washed away in a river in Arunachal Pradesh on November 24, was retrieved on Wednesday, November 27.

According to the NFR Chief Public Relations Officer, the body was found around 20 km downstream.
Choudhary had got carried away by the strong river current while visiting Parshuram Kund. An intensive search operation was on since then using even helicopters.
The NFR fraternity has expressed its condolences to the bereaved family.
Senior officers of the NFR have reached the location.
