The body of a Class 5 student was found hanging from the ceiling fan at her residence in Kamakhya Colony, Guwahati on Tuesday, April 3. The minor allegedly committed suicide when she was alone at home.
According to reports, she was last seen by her family in the morning before they left for work. When the parents returned back home, they found the dead body and reported the incident to Jalukbari Police. For further confirmation, the body was sent to Pandu Health Centre under the supervision Jalukbari Police before being sent to GMCH for post mortem.
Upon investigation, it was found that the minor girl passed away at around 11AM. Jalukbari Police is currently investigating the matter further.
