GUWAHATI: A mild earthquake jolted 86 km west of Guwahati on February 8.
As per reports, an earthquake measuring 5.0 magnitude on the Richter Scale shook was reported at 6.17 PM in the evening.
According to India Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the earthquake has been located at Assam's Bongaigaon District.
No damage or casualties have been reported so far.
