GUWAHATI: A man was killed after a four-wheeler he was driving lost control and crashed into an electric pole in the Lakhibazar area of Sribhumi on Thursday, April 17. The deceased is identified as Bappa Das.
According to the police, the vehicle veered off course before striking the roadside pole. The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined and remains under investigation.
The body has been sent to the civil hospital for a post-mortem examination.
A traffic official of Sribhumi police station confirmed the incident. "A vehicle lost control and hit an electric pole in the Lakhibazar area. The driver died on the spot due to the impact. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and further investigation is ongoing," the traffic official stated.
