GUWAHATI: A man fell to his death from the third floor of a lodge in Chandmari, Guwahati on the night of Friday, November 8.

The deceased has been identified as Bikash Adhikari. The incident occurred at the 'Krystal Inn' lodge, where Adhikari was attending a gathering with two friends.
Initial reports suggested he may have intentionally jumped from the balcony, raising concerns of a possible suicide attempt. But, the matter has been confirmed to be accidental.
Talking to GPlus, a police official from Chandmari police station said, “The case is not of suicide, Adhikary accidentally fell to his death. We are investigating further.”
