GUWAHATI: A man reportedly carried out a brutal attack on his younger sibling, severing the latter's private part in Bajali on December 14 in result killing him.
The man was attacked in a paddy field by his elder brother accompanied by his wife in the Bhawanipur area. The motive behind this assault is believed to be an alleged love affair involving the younger brother, although specific details about the affair and the individuals involved remain unclear.
Talking to GPlus, a police official from Bhawanipur Outpost said, “We received the information today. The victim already died, post the attack. The body has been sent for post-mortem.”
According to official information, the elder brother has been identified as Pranjal Roy, while the victim has been identified as Dhanjit Roy. Investigations are underway as further details are awaited.
