GUWAHATI: A two-wheeler rider died in a mishap near Pratiksha Hospital on VIP Road at around 10:45 pm on Tuesday, March 26.

The deceased has been identified as Jitumoni Kalita hailing from Sonajuli in Udalguri.

Kalita's family claimed that he was hit by a truck while police said he had fallen on the road and was also not wearing a helmet.
