Guwahati: The Crime Branch of Assam Police on Friday arrested one Bhabatosh Saha in a case of cheating. The accused Saha allegedly took Rs. 1 crore from one Tapan Kumar Chakma promising to get him tenders from Dima Hasao Autonomous District Council (D.H.A.C.).
The accused Bhabatosh Saha is a resident of Alipurduar in West Bengal.
According to the police, Saha is allegedly involved in many cases where he has been collecting money from individuals by showing allotment paper of tenders which are actually false.
