GUWAHATI: Dr. Malinee Goswami was appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Assam Women's University in Jorhat for a period of 5 years on Thursday, September 12.
Goswami was earlier serving as the Head Of the Department of Assamese at Gauhati University.
It may be mentioned that earlier KM Bujarbaruah, the VC of Assam Agricultural University had been the mentor until July this year.
