GUWAHATI: The main accused of the mob attack which claimed Dr Deben Dutta life at Teok Tea Estate, was arrested by police on September 4.
The apprehended, identified as Sanjay Rajuwar, had allegedly used a sharp object to attack the on-duty doctor and further instigated the mob to launch an attack on the deceased doctor.

Earlier on the night of August 31, the senior doctor was assaulted by a group of agitated workers following the death of their relative who was undergoing treatment at the tea estate's hospital.
It is to be mentioned that a total of 31 persons have been arrested in connection with the incident so far.
