According to an official, city buses have been requisitioned by the administration for Jhumoir and Advantage Assam.

The shortage of buses left many commuters relying on the reduced services, leading to congestion.

One commuter, a daily traveler from Maligaon, described overcrowded bus stops and the scarcity of buses that couldn't meet demand. This caused delays, with many passengers struggling to reach their destinations on time.

Guwahati Police on Sunday, February 23 issued traffic regulations for  February 24 and for February 25-26 in view of Advantage Assam 2.0 summit. The measures are designed to ensure smooth movement and public safety.
