GUWAHATI: The Assam Government’s Department of Personnel has issued a series of transfer and posting orders in the interest of public service. The notifications, approved by the Governor, outline key changes in the positions of several Administrative Civil Service (ACS) officers across the state.
• Parag Kumar Kakaty, previously Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad in Kamrup, is now transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad in Kamrup (Metro).
• Dorothy Suchiang, who held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Zilla Parishad, Kamrup (Metro), has been transferred and directed to report to the Personnel Department, Assam Government, for immediate reassignment.
• Gauri Shankar Das, previously the District Development Commissioner in Kamrup (Metro), is also transferred and directed to report to the Personnel Department for further posting.
• Parijat Bhuyan, Joint Secretary to the Assam Government, Medical Education and Research Department, is transferred and appointed as the District Development Commissioner of Kamrup (Metro).
• Bitupan Neog, who served as the District Development Commissioner in Sivasagar, is now appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad in Dhemaji.
• Sanjib Dalai, previously the Additional District Commissioner in Lakhimpur, has been transferred and posted as the Additional District Commissioner in Kamrup (Metro).
• Biswajit Saikia, who held the position of Additional District Commissioner in Barhampur, Nagaon, is now transferred and posted as the Additional District Commissioner in Kamrup (Metro).
• Jharnajyoti Patgiri and Sangeeta Devi, both serving as Additional District Commissioners in Kamrup (Metro), are transferred and directed to report to the Personnel Department for further posting.
• Tinku Moni Borah, the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Karbi-Anglong, is transferred and appointed as the Additional District Commissioner in Lakhimpur.
• Tridib Kumar Konwar, the Additional District Commissioner in Cachar, is transferred and posted as the Additional District Commissioner in Kamrup (Metro).
• Gautam Priyam Mahanta, previously the Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) in Hailakandi, is now transferred and posted as the SDO (Sadar) in Lakhimpur.
• Casio Karan Pegu, who served as the SDO (Sadar) in Lakhimpur, is transferred and appointed as the SDO (Sadar) in Kamrup (Metro).
• Anurag Rudra, the Assistant Commissioner in Kamrup (Metro), is transferred and directed to report to the Personnel Department for further posting.
• Bhaskar Jyoti Pegu, previously the Assistant Commissioner in Tinsukia, is now transferred and posted as the Assistant Commissioner in Kamrup (Metro).
