GUWAHATI: The 12th edition of the International Tourism Mart (ITM) will be held in Kaziranga, Assam, from November 26 to 29. Organised annually by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, ITM is a key platform promoting the tourism potential of North East India to domestic and international audiences.

This year’s event will spotlight the region’s unique offerings, including its diverse landscapes, vibrant ethnic cultures, ancient traditions, and stunning crafts. The venue, Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its one-horned rhinoceros, is of utmost importance.
Addressing the media, Mugdha Sinha, Director General of Tourism, shared that the event will host around 400 participants, including tour operators, hoteliers, homestay owners, government officials, influencers, media representatives, and international students.
The three-day event will feature B2B meetings, state presentations, cultural performances, and culinary demonstrations. Attendees will also enjoy live music, explore a North East Bazaar, and participate in technical visits to key sites like Charaideo Moidam, India’s 43rd UNESCO World Heritage site; Hathikuli Tea Estate; the Orchid and Biodiversity Park; and Kaziranga National Park, which is celebrating 50 years as a national park.
