GUWAHATI: Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, an Indian Railway Traffic Service Officer of the 2014 Batch, took over as the new Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) for the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) on Monday, August 12, succeeding Sabyasachi De.

Kapinjal Kishore Sharma has done his B.Tech in Civil Engineering and M.Tech in Structural Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati.
He previously worked in the Operating and Commercial departments in divisions like Alipurduar and Lumding as Senior Divisional Operations Manager (Sr. DOM) and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr. DCM).
Before his current role, he was the Deputy Chief Commercial Manager (Dy. CCM) at the NFR headquarters.
