IPL 2024: Rajasthan Royals-Kolkata Knight Riders Match In Guwahati Promises A Thriller

GUWAHATI: As the IPL season heads into its thrilling final stages, cricket enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the clash between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the ACA Stadium in Barsapara, Guwahati, on May 19. 

The match promises to be a riveting encounter as the  teams, which have already made it to the playoffs, lock horns to add to their points; Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have also secured a spot in the playoffs.

In the current season, the rivalry between RR and KKR has been intense. In the match on April 16 held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, RR defeated KKR by 2 wickets chasing a target of 224. KKR had managed to score 223 runs losing 6 wickets. 

So far in IPL encounters, the teams have rivaled each other in 29 matches. The overall head-to-head record between RR and KKR is slightly inclined towards the former with 15 wins against KKR’s 13 matches and a no-result. The May 19 showdown at RR’s second home ground will be their 30th.

The organisers have announced that all tickets for the match have been sold out, highlighting the high expectations and enthusiasm surrounding this fixture.
