GUWAHATI: India stormed into the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 final defeating defending champions England in Providence, Guyana on Thursday, June 27.

India will play South Africa in the final in their quest for a world title that has eluded them for the past 11 years.
India had put up 171 on the board after being asked to bat on a difficult wicket.
After that it was left to the spinners to bowl England out for just 103 runs. Axar Patel and Kuldip shared three wickets apiece.
Earlier, skipper Rohit Sharma played an innings of controlled aggression to score 57 while Surya Kumar Yadav just missed a half-century. Virat Kohli failed again falling just after hitting a six.
It now remains to be seen whether the Indian juggernaut continues to roll through the final or is stopped by a fiery South Africa, just the way Australia had done in the last ODI World Cup.
